The origins of our bohemian jewelry style

Our designer, Brenda, tends to create beaded gemstone accessories that suit her personal style. Although growing up in the late seventies and early eighties, Brenda longed for the community and casual confidence of the late sixties. Disco was breathing its last gasp and punk and new wave were just taking form. It was an awful moment for fashion.

Brenda was keen on visiting the local flea market searching for the bohemian jewelry treasures that might be found there. She had an eye for finding the beauty in estate jewelry's excessive color and gemstone beads. Today, she finds wearing layered multiple necklaces and bracelets of the Betula Blu collection gives her the bohemian jewelry style that she was searching for. She particularly likes the look of a Bevelry Necklace, a Cadence Necklace and a Cassiopaeia Necklace all worn together.  Shehas been known to layer up to six necklaces at once to achieve a casual bouquet of color and texture. Brenda finds that her early flea market finds mix beautifully with the varied sizes and the adjustable clasps of the Betula Blu collections.
